Early access: Conferro is currently onboarding its first consultants and opening selected pathways gradually.
When you fund a milestone on Conferro, the money does not go to the consultant. Here is exactly what happens to it.
Money leaves your card. The consultant is notified that the milestone is funded, but they are not paid.

You can raise a dispute. While it's open, the milestone stays held, and nothing is released to the consultant until the dispute is resolved.
Request changes on the delivered milestone. If it still isn't resolved, you can escalate to a formal dispute.
If a dispute is raised and resolved in your favor, your payment is returned to you.
Conferro, through our payment provider, Stripe.
This mechanism is known as escrow.
No, it's included. Conferro's only charge is a flat 10% platform commission on the milestone amount, shown to the consultant before they accept the engagement.
After you approve a milestone, the payment enters a 7-day clearance window before it reaches the consultant's payout. It's a standard safeguard against chargebacks and last-minute issues.
Both sides have 3 days to submit evidence after a dispute is raised, then our team reviews the case and resolves it. We don't promise a fixed number of days for the review itself, since cases vary, but funds stay held and nothing is released without a decision.
Leave your email and pathway, and we will reach out when it opens.
